• Re: Where are the free skins?

  I must say it's hard to find a free skin. I found only a few sites when I was building my links directory, very few added later. Visit the site from my sig to find them easy. Usually you can find a free skin or two on skin designer websites. I guess that's because commercial skins are also almost free in my opinion.

  Thank you for your answers. Problem is that I do not want to recompile anything even if I knew how. I was hoping for a simple solution but I think only simple solution here is to forget about google search.

• Google SiteSearch problem (viewstate?)

  I tried to put Google SiteSearch code in my skin. It is a simple GET form with couple of fields. But DNN adds viewstate right before closing FORM tag and I belive that is what couses Google SiteSearch to not work anymore. BTW, second problem is that I do not want that huge viewstate in the first place. Anybody has a clue? I'm aware of Inventua's module for this but I do not want to use a module for a simple thing like this.

  I usually set up module settings without print option and then also check option that it becomes new default. That way I use it only once and all future modules are not printable unless I select it manually.

  Your module is missing a very important features for more serius usage of Google analytics. It is " _udn" variable you can add to your script to do stuff like monitoring all subdomains of your domain or monitoring 3rd party shoping basket. One of usages is described here: https://www.google.com/support/analytics/bin/answer.py?answer=27268&hl=en I think it should e another option in settings :)

  It is recommended to post Google code in Head section. You can easily do it with some modules or by pasting it to your skin... but search forums. I've seen at least 5 threads on that.
