Hi Dawoe, You bring up a good point. What are good tools to use to measure speed. The following are the two that we use, one of which you mentioned above. The times I show are based on 56k. What Optimization Tools are good to measure Speed? 1. Websiteomtimization.com 2. Net Mechanic Good because it also shows browser compatability errors.

Thanks, cjsmitty , for the post to the viewstate modifications . Results as follows: Our site: websites-marketing.net Our site load time: 9.47s After modification: 8.65s Feedback: Simple to employ. We only have 2 modules on our home page. Basically, the more modules you have, the bigger the viewstate, and the more improvement in load time results that will be seen from this modification. Thanks again csjmitty!

  • Blowery Compression affecting Invetua href exchanger

When using the blowery.web compression module for dotnetnuke, we have had major issues with our urls falling back to the quicklinks Href exchanger by invetua is not fuctioning correctly... More here Current Analysis If you want it to have a faster load time, then blowery.web is a good tool for that. If you want better looking urls then a href exchanger from Invetura is what I reccomend. Does anyone have both of these running successfully?

  • Re: Can you speed up this DNN Site?

Hi, My current host is Portalwebhosting.com . They are very reliable, and a good hosting company. I am however interested the www.KeepAliveForever.com . This was a comment about the site on another forum... "Had a look at your site... you could do with speeding that up, it took around a minute to load up and i am on a v.fast connection." So, load time is 12 seconds when I check at netmechanic.com , and I'm like, why is it taking so long to frik'n load.
