  I've also cleared my cookies to no avail. There is an bit on the MSDN about decryption after moving from Win2k or NT 4.0 to later OS's like XP or 2003. In my case I went from a 2k machine to a 2003 machine. I suspect if this applies my passwords just may not be decryptable, and I'll have to wash this all through a Win 2000 machine and pass the values to a Win 2003 to re-encrypt (eh, kill me.) Unfortunately I don't know enough about encryption. PRB: Cannot Decrypt Data Using Data Encryption Standard

  I am having a similar problem with encryption that seems to be a symptom of a machine shift, but like always there are other factors. I picked up a client who had a DNN 2.X install that their webadmin had migrated to 3.0. After years of tinkering and messing with 3rd party modules their site completely de-stabilized.
