  I didnt really add any manual code to the page all was created by the interface and is quite simple. This was one of my first tests using some of these new controls. How would it be something withing the code if its working from the local copy? Wouldnt this be more of a server side setting that may not be correct?

• Datagrid Edit Problem

  I have a webpage with a datagrid displayed on it. The edit functionality has been turned on and works 100% properly from the local machine. When i upload/copy the project to the webserver or build a new project that is simialr the code project appears to work, even the edit buttons. However after you complete the updat the data in the server is not updated. There are no errors reported. Just the data is not updated. Any help is appreciated.

  I'm also having a similar problem. I added a data grid to my site and enabled the edit ability. The code appears to be correct and runs 100% properly from the local file system. When I upload/copy the code to the webserver on a windows 200 server everythign appears to work, even the edit buttons. However the database feilds are not actually updated after you click update they just revert to their previous state. Any help is appreciated.

  Here are my steps. 1. create ddn db 2. changed release.config to web.config and pointed my con string to my db server 3. did the install 4. went back in to web.config and UNCOMEMMENTED the "<add name="Authentication" type="DotNetNuke.HttpModules.AuthenticationModule, DotNetNuke.HttpModules.Authentication" />" line. 5. changed security settings in IIS (admin-->security-->widowsSignin.aspx") unchecked "anonymous" 6. logged in as admin and under "authentication" enter all data. 7.   Is there documentation somewhere to setup Windows Auth from a new install? When I go to the Authentication setup I recieve this error: Accessing Global Catalog: OK Checking Root Domain: OK Accessing LDAP: FAIL Find all domains in network: Could not access LDAP to obtain domains info The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted However, I know the domian exists and is working.

• 3.2 Upgrade .. runtime error

  I have modified the web.config properly and upon initial luanch the portal upgrade came up and sucessfully ran the scripts. Once I clicked view you portal, I start getting a runtime error. Now the database has been upgraded so I cannot go back to the old version. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

  I have managed to get TTT auth to work, and autologon but once I log out I am never able to log back in unless I close the browser and start new. I have installed the secondary module and created the new signin page put it just hangs. I would love to get this working properly, I have tried with 3.0 and 3.1 with similar results. I would almost even settle for removing the logout feature alltogether, and may try to edit the source and go that route. Any info would be appreciated. thanks.
