• Client code to consume Restful Collection service

  As the collections returned from a Collection service is an ItemInfoList containing ItemInfo elements and a single item returned is a ex. Bookmark i don't see the client code being 'easy' to implement. Changing the ItemInfo attribute seem to be hidding so I can't do that - yet. Does anyone have a simple way of writing client code ? Thanks Paul S

  This looks nice - I've tried it and added a button to the footer row but in my eventhandler for the button_click I can't get access to the controls in the footer row since it is null. What's wrong here ?. Regards Paul S

• Calendar databind in a formview

  I have created a formview for a table where one of the fields is of datetime. The wizard generates a textbox for this field, but I want to use the calendar control instead so I replace the textbox with a calendar control. I then click Edit databindings for the calendar control but here the 'Binding for selected date ' is disabled - why ? regards Paul S

• String cannot have zero length

  When I download the .vsi installer file and double click to install it I get the error 'String cannot have zero length' Anyone who has a clue about what the problem might be ? Happens to all .vsi files that I've donwloaded. Also happens if I just click Open instead of first downloading it.

• Dynamic parameters for EditUrl

  My View module has a dropdown list. How can I dynamically add the selected value as a parameter to the EditUrl call. I would like to use it when editing a record. The question is not how to add the parameter - it's how to add the selected value as a parameter.

• Missing resources in custom module

  Hi. I'm developing a custom module where I have added label text to the .resx file and it works - until yesterday - then they suddenly were gone. I have 4 usercontrols in my PA and it's only a problem in one of them. I have looked in the project file to see if there where any missing links, but without luck Any clues to what might be wrong ?

• Image in a cutom module

  I have build a Custom Module where I have copied the code from the image module to be able to select and show images. Just like in the image module I stored the named of the image to be displayed on the form fileid=x. My problem is that on rendering this value does not get changed - the source contains this src="DesktopModules/MsNextEvent/FileID=22" What am I missing ?

• Dropdown in editable grid

  I have a grid with at dropdownlist in an EditTemplate. When I click Edti and go into editmode the ddl get's populated just fine. I then select a value and click update to save the changes. In the eventhandler for the Update command I able to find the dropdownlist but now it's empty ??? Any suggestions to what might be wrong ? - Paul S.
