Re: MinMax persistance type of cookie requires a ModuleId?
I had the same problem in DNN402. When i have created PA with source and deploy it to another DNN4 host. Its create wrong pathes to .ascx files. Its seems to be a bug :)

I need copy setting not from one module. Its can be many modules, some of them, for example, have no source or something else. DNN do not create copy of settings in DB for another portals. One more problem was with TabModuleSettings (when i need to display diffrent instance of module case of different tabModuleSettings, how can i discover what TabModuleId I need to display with one tabModuleSetting and what with second.... it is a big problem if i do not do this in time of portal creation when i

Q to DNN Developers (Core team)!
Why don't you copy module and tabmodule settings to new portal (created with template)? (in PortalController.vb -> ParsePanes() ) Some problems? I change code of this class (PortalController) to copy module settings when portal created... Will it work normaly? (now it seems good...)

Is this a big problem? Maby some body have the same problem? Maby you dont understend what i want to hear... I suggest you make some template with announcments. Create new page Place in announcements link to this page. Make the template files from all this INCLUDING content.. Install another DNN in new folder on new database. Copy templates files to "portals/_default" folder of new DNN host. create some child portal in this DNN with just copied template. Go to new child portal and look at the link

Links in template's content.
Hi there, I have a problem with links. I have made template with content ( simple Announcement + Txt/html). I want that links to pages such "read more" in Announcement modules work correctly after using a template in another site (hosting of DNN i.e.) (after making new portal Child or Parent with this template). In my way, All the links links site to tabid that does not exist. Paths to Images work correctly. Please help... How can i fix this? My DNN version is 3.1.0 Thank You
