  Thanks! Now I close my connection in the ExecuteScalar and ExecuteNonQuery methods, and the command object will not dispose. But the both errors are still there, and a new has came up: "ExecuteReader requires an open and available Connection. The connection's current state is open.". Any suggestions?

  Server, userid and pwd in my connection string was only an example and not in use. I got " Invalid attempt to Read when reader is closed. " if I close the connection (Connection.Close()) in my finally block.

  I had problem with my applications data access layer I got from http://www.codeproject.com/cs/database/DBLayer_Wizard.asp . I use ASP.NET 2.0 and SQL Server Express. This errors came "randomly": ExecuteReader requires an open and available Connection. The connection's current state is connecting. There is already an open DataReader associated with this Command which must be closed first. My connection string: Server=HELLO01\SQLEXPRESS; Database=MyApp; User ID=MyApp; Password=G871ssk8; Trusted_Connection

  I solve this problem through uninstall .Net Framework 2.0.40607.42 on the server and then install version 2.0.50215.44 (the current version on Microsoft Downloads).
