• Windows Media Module Request

  This is a request for someone to develop a module which can display information from the Windows Media 9 Audio (or Video) meta data and allow a user to download the Windows Media file. (Similar to DNNDownload Module, but no image needed and it needs to get its info from file metadata.) DNN uses Microsoft technology and Windows Media 9 is a great Microsoft CODEC. Does anyone have the expertise to create a module for displaying Windows Media 9 metadata & downloading files...as follows: 1- Module

• Re: missing all the core modules after installation v. 3.1

  :( Did anyone else notice that this issue still exists in DNN version 3.1.1? I just did a clean install of DNN 3.1.1 on a remote serves (hosted website) and I only have the 10 modules. Important ones like Text\Html are all missing. Can anyone give specific details on how I could do a clean install with all the Core Modules installing right away? (Geert?)

  Eric, I've experienced the same problems. Even installing non-core modules with similar features didn't fix the text Html issues. I've also wondered of 3.1.0 was was not meant to be used for a new install...and what it would do if I upgraded to it from 3.0.13. Have not had time to try that yet though. Is this a known issue, probably documented somewhere? Are the other missing " core-modules " not compatible with version 3.1.0 yet? Is 3.1.0 a beta release? If yes, can we request that beta releases
