Re: How to display aspx pages in Webbrowser control
>>>> but it does not display aspx code at all. <<<<< Of course it doesn't, aspx are interpreted on the server side only. By the time it gets to the browser, it has been rendered to HTML.

Re: Have some input into "Programming ASP.NET 4.0"
If you're still stuck in the past with Visual Basic, why would you want to read a book called Programming in ASP.NET 4.0, you people aren't capable of learning new things; otherwise you would have moved to C# by now.
Aren't capabable of learning new things? What's new in C# that's not in VB.NET, and vice versa? C# was my first .NET language, but recently I've been doing a project in VB. It's been really easy transitioning

Re: Can any one tell me what is this error means...(Urgent)
Looks like you don't have Microsoft Excel installed on your server (or you have a different version than 11), which apparently your project requires.

Re: Need sugesstion for slow performance
To be honest, it sounds like a design issue to me. Since you are using ASP.NET, which lets you dynamically create the contents of the page, I can't imagine a scenario where you have to have 8000 different pages. Are many of your pages almost identical except for minor differences? >>> but i have like 8000 pages for which i need to put a loop for each page n then i m reading the data of each page <<< Do you mean that for each postback you are looping through 8000 pages?? Re: ASP Login system
Besides which, why would someone do your job for you? Forums like this are meant for giving advice, tips, etc. It's not for "here's-all-my-requirements-wake-me-up-when-you've-done-my-work".

Re: What do I need to be a professional ?
What you know now is less important than your ability to learn and adapt according to the needs of each project. Being a problem solver is 9/10 of the work. The purely technical stuff is relatively easy.

Re: Downloading SQL 2005 Express
I've never had a problem with Microsoft downloads, for free products or otherwise. Last week at work I downloaded the 2008 versions of C#, VB.NET, and Web Developer - all were done in a minute or two. For the heck of it I just tried downloading the 55 MB version of SQL Express, it transferred around 830 KB/second, finished downloading in about a minute.
