  • Re: Major Site Failure

Glad you got it fixed or found a way around it. You may find the issue between the sql working on the dev and not on the live was the sql server collation. I had a similar issue where i moved database servers and the collation changed between the two. Not a pleasant experiance.......... H

  • Re: Module install - Collation Conflict

I think i have narrowed the issue down to one that I seem to have created. The db was originally installed on a server in the USA using collation SQL_latin1_general_CP1_CI_AS and then moved to a server in the UK with collation Latin1_CI_AS I am unsure as to the relevance of the collation on the database? I have the USA and the UK DB and I am wondering that the best resolution would be to get the DB working on the UK server. Thanks

  • Module install - Collation Conflict

Hi I am attempting to install a new module following an upgrade to DNN 3.1.1 The fact that I have upgraded may have nothing to do with this Everything is fine with the module install until the sql execution when i get the collation conflict. According to Microsoft they have a bug and i have a problem. I have attempted to export and import the data to a new db but this does not seem to resolve the issue. Any ideas how i can resolve this one or why its even occouring? Thanks
