Re: Transaction Scope, Calling a method from another method, command object already has an opened datareader
In the below code, at the bottom an external method "A "was called within the transaction scope. When this method is executed, I'm getting an error saying"command object already has an open datareader".

Transaction Scope, Calling a method from another method, command object already has an opened datareader
I'm using transactionScope in a method A to perform database reading. Inside this transaction scope, another method B is called. This method B perfoms database reading, which returns a value to method A. While running the code, I'm getting an error in method B, stating that "the command object already has an opened datareader". But, method B is declaring its own datareader which is closed, before passing the value to method A. Please advice on how to resolve this issue.

get the value from table in report layout and show in a textbox
Hi, In my report, I have a table that displays all the data from query. I need to take the value of the 3rd row,2nd column of the table and display in a text box. I tried to do like: =ReportItems("TextBox2").Value., where TextBox2 is the 3rd row,2nd column of the table. This returns just the first row value of the seleted data. But, I need the 3rd row value. Please let me know how can I acheive this.

Re: update control
Here's my scenario. There is a usercontrol, which is used on two pages Page1 and Page 2. If user A updates a usercontrol value in Page 1 and moves to Page2 from Page 1, the user control in Page 2 should reflect the change.

Re: update control
I need to update the user control on the page when ever an update to one of the server controls was made. If the user goes to next page, that page will also have the same user control and the values of the usercontrol in previous page should reflect in the current page. How can this be done without using sessions.
