Re: Amazing Feature tools
It's possible but it always begs the question whether it's worth it:) It takes a lot of time to create components like those of ComponentArt, Telerik, DevExpress, ComponentOne and other commercial vendors of ASP.NET controls. For me personally, it makes no sense to build UI controls when there's such a variety of tools on the market and their licensing and pricing is OK. - Elton

Re: Please Help With Advice - Development Tools/CMS For .NET based Projects
It seems you are already familiar with Telerik tools. I accidentally found out recently that the folks offer a web CMS product in addition to set of ASP.NET components. It's really bizarre because you can't find any info on their corporate site about www.sitefinity.com . Some things like the tool for creating layouts are half-baked and not intuitive but overall the product is really easy to work with. I've been in touch with their support folks and they said that a new version 2.0 is coming out soon

Re: Third party web controls for grid: which is better - Janus or Infragistics?
There are plenty of other good grids on the market. What are the main features you are looking for? Are you looking for performance or for a rich clientside experience? Some additional info would help a lot as each product has unique strengths and weaknesses. - Elton

Re: Good Outlook Style Controls
You can take a look at Telerik's products. I bought their package to spice up our projects and I am nothing but thrilled with its capabilities. - Elton

Re: Can anyone recommend me a Rich Text Editor
Hi, Our company recently started using the Telerik controls package and I am very impressed from what I have seen in RAD Editor. I haven't used any other RTE components and I can't really comment on how it stands compared to other products, but I don't think I will ever need more functionality than what's already available and I think it is very developer-friendly. I read in Telerik's forums that the new release of RAD Editor that will come out in the ned of July will feature great XHTML content

Re: Looking for custom datagrid control with "plumbing" complete
I used infragistics' grid in one project but I was not content with the documentation and its performance. I recently found that Telerik have released GRid control which looks pretty fine. The API resembles the regular asp grid's and the control shows good performance. I am currently migrating to RAD grid and have found no major issues so far. You can try that grid as well. I see others have suggested ASPxGrid - I have evaluated it as well and it is indeed a good control. The one thing that bothered
