  • Re: Firefox issues

Its a much bigger problem than just that. For example (a very critical problem), if you log in as admin/host via firefox, there will be buttons / menus missing! But they work perfectly fine in IE! This was actually a thread in the forum, but it was never resolved. I have a feeling that its not even possible at this point to fix, or rather it would require alot of work to repair....

oooooooooK So no one else has this problem? I think this is pretty serious,.......and yes I searched the all the forums on this site and I've tried using their "solutions" but they just don't work. These incompatibility issues might just send me packing towards another solution,.....

  • Firefox issues

I've seen firefox issues in these forums, but hardly any answers. My problem is that I'm running DNN v3.00.13, and I'm using the Core Gallary module, but viewing movies via FireFox will not work, it won't load the mediaplayer, but everything works in IE (naturally). Also, I notice menu options missing when in host mode in FF..... :(

  • Free Photo Album?

I've been looking for a free photo album for DNN v3, but it seems that virtually every one out there costs money. Any suggesstions? (yes I know, everything costs money, etc, please don't repsond with that, I'm on a tight budget as it is)

  • Re: Please supply Sample Web.Config for DNN 3.1.0

This issue is the same problem that Linux has with the desktop arena. The general public doesn't want to have to go to great lengths to set something up (YES I KNOW, YOU COMPUTER GODS THINK THIS IS OH SO EASY). But the truth is oh so simple: PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO READ DOCUMENTATION Why can't you make simple changes, and minimize this problem? Simplicity will make for a better product, plain and simple. One thing I liked about DNN was that it was simple. I can EASILY set it up within minutes.....

You are all missing my point entirely. Lets face it, not everone likes to read the documentation. And for something as simple as DNN, you really shouldn't have to for a basic install. I was completly new to DNN and figured out how to install it (on godaddy no lesS) without reading any documentation. However I was fortunate that I used v3.0.13 and didn't have to worry about a missing file. Yes, yes, yes.....copying a file is oh so easy. Great. But would it KILL them to add it? What sort of reasoning
