.NET code embedded in markup - from VB.NET to C#
Hi there, I'm converting a large VB.NET web project to C#. The software I'm using does not convert the VB.NET code embedded in markup, for instance: <% If VisibleColumn("Container", "ContainerField02") Then %> <tr> <td class="Etiqueta"> <%# ColumnName("Container", "ContainerField02") %> </td> <td> <igsch:WebDateChooser ID="ContainerDateTextBox" runat="server" Value='<%# Bind

Calling a user control method from another user control code behind
Hi there, In a webform I have a FormView. The ItemTemplate contains two users control, UC1 and UC2. When certain event fires in UC1´s code behind, I need to call a public method in UC2. So I think from UC1´s event code I need to find the container FormView first, then find the ItemTemplate and finally find UC2 inside it, and then call UC2´s method. Is that the way to go? I would appreciate a lot some ideas/suggestions/C# examples on how to do this. Thanks in advance.

Re: Runtime does not reflect stylesheet changes
I found out myself that the browser was caching the pages. CTRL-F5 on the browser window solved it. Hope this helps someone.

Runtime does not reflect stylesheet changes
When I run my project, changes I made to my style.css file won't show in the browser. Hours or a day later, they'll eventually show up. In design time the changes show up immediately, so I think it's the integrated web server not passing the latest build to the browser. I'm not using any ASP.NET caching options for my pages and no, cleaning and rebuilding the project does not help either. :( Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Re: Neet to return true or false depending on the result of my Page Method
Thanks for the explanation. I'm just stared to work with AJAX technology so I need to do a lot more of research. Funny thing is, the first thing that came to mind when I read about PageMethod calls was the ability to stop a button from doing a submit, depending on the response from the server. :) Thanks again!

Neet to return true or false depending on the result of my Page Method
Hi there, My main javascript funcion will call the PageMethods function to communicate with the server. Depending on the result received from the server, the main javascript funcion needs to return either 'true' or 'false'. I will call my main javascript function from a submit button click. Note that the function first checks if a certain checkbox is checked, if so, it checks for shipments by calling the server method. Submit should not happen if there are no shipments. On the server

Re: SessionParameter not working for ObjectDataSource's InsertParameters
OOOOPS! Terribly sorry. It was failing for a different reason. It works fine with either Session["Clave"] or Context.Session["Clave"]. Original problem persists.

Re: SessionParameter not working for ObjectDataSource's InsertParameters
>One question : did you set Session["clave"] in the same page ? No. This value was stored on the session on the login page. >can you try to use contexxt.Session["clave"] instead of directly accessing the Session page property. Sorry I don't fully understand. Do you mean when storing the value to the session on the login page? >And what is the data type of clave ? String.
