Re: Default skins in clean install come up w/broken images...why?
Ok Folks! Here's the problem. For I have dealt with this issue as well as everyone who has posted here so far. I have not been able to figure out how and where in the code to fix this problem. If you install DotNetNuke as instructed into the C:\DotNetNuke folder exactly or I think D:\DotNetNuke or E:\DotNetNuke as long as the Foldername is DotNetNuke as a root folder of any drive, then you will not have the problem with thumbnail display in the Skin manager. If you do install into another folder

Re: Thumbnails not displaying
I am getting the same error. What I notice is the thumbnail image tag is not referenced correctly. For example, I unzipped DNN to D:\dnnportals\www. Then I have an IIS virtual directory being www.mydomain.com/portals that points to that folder. After installation, everything works fine except the thumbnails do not show. The Image tag in the HTML source code is <IMG src="/portals\portals\www\portals\_default\skins\dnn-blue\thumbnail_horizontal menu - fixed width.jpg" >. Which is obviously incorrect
