DefaultButton Firefox bug
The DefaultButton property of say the Panel control does not work in Firefox when it is surrounded by the UpdatePanel control. It works fine in IE but not in Firefox. No JavaScript errors are thrown.

Re: UpdatePanel and focus
Set the focus by calling the SetFocus method of the ScriptManager object.

Re: Sys is not defined Error
It seems like the error only appears on pages that use a MasterPage. The ScriptManager is also placed inside the MasterPage.

Sys is not defined Error
I started receiving this error message today: Sys is not defined. I have not made any changes and the website was working correctly before. Running the latest version of ASP.Net AJAX Extensions. I have searched the forums and other sites but nothing seems to solve this issue.

Re: Unable to send mail
That was the first thing I did after installing Vista. Everything else is working except for debugging asp.net. But thats another story.

Re: Unable to send mail
That link posted is about how to use the .net classes to send email, which I know how to do. Like I said above, the code works on IIS running on Windows XP. But when I upgraded to Vista, thats when I started getting those errors. I know my smtp server works.

Re: Unable to send mail
I forgot to mention that i am NOT using a local smtp server. I am using a seperate smtp server, which I know works.

Unable to send mail
System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The function requested is not supported Thats the exception I get when I try to send mail using asp.net 2.0. Everything worked until I upgraded to Vista. I am thinking this is an asp.net/IIS issue on Vista since I did not change the code. The code works perfectly on XP. Is this is a known issue? How can I fix this?

Re: Drop Down List
When you double click on the DropDownList control, it inserts the SelectedIndexChanged event. Select the control and in the properties click on Events, and then select the event you want this code to go in.
