There are no permissions on my folder, the security tab isnt even there. I think its because I am the only user on my computer, so everything should have full permissions.

  • Permissions Problem

I am running Windows XP Home edition with a Cassini server, using Dreamweaver MX 2004. Im just running Cassini as a local server, so I can test my web sites, but I have a problem. When I create a database and try to test it, it doesn't work. I get a 403 error forbidden, I am the only user on my computer and I am administator, so I should have full permissions, but I guess I don't. When I go into properties under my website folder, there is no security tab, Im guessing because Im the only user. So

I have this same problem, but I have no idea of how to solver it. Im the only user on my computer, so I cant change the security of my folders, because I should have full permissions for everything...This is really bugging me, I have no idea where to go from here. I guess Ill try that script and see if I can get that to work.

I think I didnt describe my problem well enough. Im trying to setup local server to test my website before I publish them. I do not run IIS, I am running Cassini, I dont know if that changes my problem then, but when I open my web.config file those tags are not there, this is what it shows: <configuration> <appSettings> <add key="MM_CONNECTION_HANDLER_db2" value="default_oledb.htm" /> <add key="MM_CONNECTION_STRING_db2" value="Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=C:\Documents

  • Need Help Fixing a 403 Error

I searched the forums and found a related thread, but it didn't solve my problem. Everything works fine, until I try and create a database. I make the connection, but when I test it I get a error 403 forbidden...I dont know how it could involve permissions because I am the only user on my computer and therefor admin. Im running Windows XP home edition, been trying to fix this for a while now, any help would be greatly appreciated.
