Re: Dynamically generated Button inside dynamically generated GridView inside ListView not firing Event
Well, your code had only one real difference from mine, and that made all the difference. I was creating the GridView event handlers for RowDataBound and RowCreated in the ListItem events, rather than putting them in the Gridview call in the markup. You would think it should still work, but it didn't. So, I moved the Event Handlers to the markup as you have them, and voila, it works perfectly. You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. Marked as answered and thanks for your time and help!

Dynamically generated Button inside dynamically generated GridView inside ListView not firing Event
I've done tons of searching on this one to no real avail, so I'm posting here. As a note, I've found multiple pages discussing this problem, but all of those solutions utilized a placeholder control, which I don't have the luxury of using. Here's a basic overview of what I have: A ListView Control Embedded into the ListViewItem is a GridView, utilizing a dynamically generated DataTable (due to a variable number of columns) A LinkButton in the footer of each GridView cell, which

Re: Focus()... Help please.
So the question then is, is the bug in IE6/7 or is the bug in MS AJAX?

Re: Textbox setfocus problem with atlas controls
This is going to sound ridiculous, but give it a shot. See if it works for you correctly in Firefox. If so, there is a bug with IE that won't allow you to focus on a textbox the way the AJAX team has implemented it. This was answered by vineetc in another thread I posted with the same issue. I'll wait patiently with you until this gets resolved.

Re: [Beta2] ScriptManager.SetFocus() only works on first async postback
Well that just figures. :) Am I on the only one who finds it humorous that Microsoft AJAX seems to work better overall in non-Microsoft browsers? :D Thanks for the reply vineetc, I'll be looking for updates.

Re: What happened to the UpdateProgress control ?
It's in Beta2, though the thing I found was that it wasn't in the Extensions tab of the toolbox until I added the Microsoft.Web.Preview.dll items to the toolbox, even on Beta2. Give that a shot.

Re: Javascript and popups no longer working
Gotta ask a ridiculous question. Did you install the "Future" CTP package as well? As I read it, the extenders don't work without the CTP. Remember that you have to update your Microsoft.Web.Preview.dll in your BIN folder to the newer version as well. Concerning your first issue, I believe you have to register any external scripts with the Script Manager before they'll work.

[Beta2] ScriptManager.SetFocus() only works on first async postback
Here's my situation. On my input form I have two different textboxes in an UpdatePanel that I would like to set focus to at different times. On the initial postback, the SetFocus() method works fine, and the first of the two textboxes has focus. On the next postback and all successive postbacks (through the UpdatePanel), SetFocus no longer works. Am I expecting too much of the SetFocus() API?

Re: Problem with Ajax with a MasterPage
I'm assuming you guys were both on Beta 1. If you upgrade to Beta 2, I notice that no longer is an issue. If for some reason, you are unable to upgrade to Beta 2, I noticed that if I opened the master page that contained the scriptmanager control (and left it open in VS), I could then access the AJAX server controls for some reason. I'm sure it was a bug, that appears to have been resolved in Beta 2.
