  My host has assured me that the permissions are set properly. It's connecting into a SQL server DB. Could that be the problem? I've read that it should be a MySQL DB.

  Okay, I managed to get this installed. Now when I run the default.aspx file I get the following error: An error has occurred. An error has occurred. That's it! Not very descriptive at all. In the Address bar of IE it adds to the url. www.websitedomain.com/Default.aspx?tabid=36&error=Object+reference+not+set+to+an+instance+of+an+object.&content=0 This is all I'm getting for an error. Can someone point me in the right direction to solve this?

Well, I managed to fix that issue, but now I get this: Installing DotNetNuke Upgrade Error: ERROR: Could not connect to database specified in connectionString for SqlDataProvider Server Error in '/HFL' Application. • Trying to get going...

  I'm a newbie, so please excuse my insolence! I am using v3.0.12. The host I'm using is Brinkster. I uploaded all of the files to my website, edited the web.config file and this is what I get. I'm not sure how to configure IIS when I'm using a host. Is there a tool I can install to do this (similar to phpMyAdmin as a sub to MySQL)?
