Upgrading DNN from 3.2.2 to 4.0.2 problem
Hi, i just upgrade my website from 3.2.2 to 4.0.2, the process went fine (the "click here to access your portal" link appeared) however, the app keeps redirecting to the install.aspx file. What's wrong? I had no problem with upgrading before. Here is the link: http://dnnvn.net Any help would be appreciated. Regard, NVT

Re: Style Sheet doesn't work!
Did you clear cache? Caching makes modifications don't appear right away, especially when you set it for a long period. You can do this in DNN's host settings page.

Re: 3.1 to 3.2 upgrade issue.
I repeat a trick to workaround this, which i posted somewhere on this forum as follow: 1. Register as a new user, remember password and Email . 2.Open Enterprise Manager, choose 'return all row' for table aspnet_Membership and look for the section with the above Email address. Copy down the 'password' and 'passwordsalt' to notepad. 3.Find your super user's row by email address, paste the above password and passwordsalt strings over it. Save the database. 4. Logon using super user account with the

Re: Installing DNN4 Source Version
You can put it anywhere you feel suit. It doesn't matter where. But keep in mind that you have to copy the resulting .dll files from the bin folder of the library to the bin folder of the website, in order for the website to run.

It seems that it doesn't matter before or after. Or is it just me? I have once upgraded DNN forgeting to copy the keys, then of course cannot login. Then i copy it and everything okay.

Re: compling dotnetnuke error
I have this problem once, it was because i haven't installed IIS in advance. Also note that DNN is VB.NET application, so you must install VB.NET with VS.NET. Hope this helps. Regard, NVT

Re: Performance vs Largest number of DotNetNuke installations on a single server
You should study the Portals feature of DNN. You can have 100 websites running on a single DNN installation. Regard, NVT

Re: Need Source Forum run in DNN3.0.13?
hoangminhcuong wrote: Hi all! I using DNN3.0.13, I'm looking for an forum runing in this version. Can you help me to show that download version Forum integrated with DNN 3.0.13(contain PA and source) Thanks very much! Firstly you should really consider an upgrade. If you still want to use that version, you can install the newest core Forums module by modifying the .dnn file in the package. You can simply look at another modules' .dnn file under their folder to see the difference between versions

Re: Upgrade from 3.0.13 to 3.1.20 fails - Was:Dotnuke blog module installation fails
superskanl wrote: What seems to be going on is that your website is configured in IIS to run asp.net 2.0, while dotnetnuke 3.2 only works on asp.net 1.1. You can change that in IIS Manager. Hope it helps. DNN 3.2 is asp.net 2.0 compliant, dude!! In other words, it works on both 1.1 and 2.0.
