Re: Return the assembly of the custom server control parent
Thanks booler, I'm playing with your suggestion now but it looks like a non-starter. Will probably just have to add it to each of my default pages unless anyone else has any suggestions?

Return the assembly of the custom server control parent
Hi, I have a custom server control which appears in all my applications. It's a login control. I would like to display within the control the version info or file version info from the assembly of the web application which is using the control. I have tried using GetExecutingAssembly, GetCallingAssembly from the page, from the naming container, from the AppDomain.CurrentDomain Assemblies but it always returns the assembly version of the control and not the application using the control. Anyone

Re: Events, Page Life Cycle, Ajax, DropDownList, My head hurts
I'm out of ideas I'm afraid. Nothing to do with the ListSearchExtender doing a postback and firing off the page load again? Clutching at straws I know but I have no knowledge of this control so I'll bow out gracefully.

Re: Events, Page Life Cycle, Ajax, DropDownList, My head hurts
It may do, I'm not sure. I take it that any default ddl settings are done in a not ispostback statement? Sorry, other than that I can't help. Perhaps if you posted some code we could see?

Re: Events, Page Life Cycle, Ajax, DropDownList, My head hurts
Alternatively you might have the dropdownlist wired up through the codebehind through the handles event and on the aspx markup as the selectedindexchanged=. You only need one or the other, otherwise the event gets fired twice.

Re: How to load a CSS Resource of CustomControl In Update Panel ?
Hi, Has there been a fix or a workaround for this issue. I'm finding it a problem myself. Could you supply with me a few more details of your PageInit event? I tried to do the same but still the same issue occurs. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks Craig

Re: Reusable CalendarExtender example with code provided...Enjoy!
Hi, I'm looking to do a similar thing and fix the location issue in a scrollabe div. I've tried numerous things but cannot get it to work. Could you do me a favour and show me the code that you used for the popupBehavior.set_y()? Is there an equivilant get_y() method? Thanks Craig

Re: AJAX Calendar Extender Problem
Thanks, I tried this but it doesn't work. Is your grid inside a scrollable div?
