I have a similar requirement too! I want to export my DNN users to Community Server to test that out! It will be easy to get a list of the users but is there a way to unhash their passwords? Regards, Matt

  • Camtasia Flash Videos

Hi, Has anybody managed to integrate flash videos produced by Camtasia into DNN (I am running 3.1.1)? I want to be able to integrate them into DNN so that I can use the built in security as I only want certain people to see certain videos. They need to stream and not download... Any information / help on this topic would be good. Thanks, Matt

  • Re: Custom Authentication (But Not Authorization)

Hi Tim, I am interested in your authentication ideas. We already have a database with all our users and the organisation that they belong to. We have a unique UserID (integer) but only have a unique username per organisation. Would there be a way that I can use my existing details to authenticate the users agains our current database and if they do not exist in DNN then create and authorize them? I would need to add an Organisation field (Drop down list) to the login form. any Ideas would be good

  • Child Portals and Sub Domains

Hi, I have my domain name that I want to use for my main portal. I then want to make my child portal run of subdmains of it. Is there a way that I can do this in DNN3.0.13? I want to only have 1 installation of the DB and 1 website, how do I achieve this? Any Ideas? Regards, Matt ******************************************************** There is an easy fix for this, I worked it out - Just assign the portal a new http alias! Matt
