  I installed DNN 4.0 in my system which currently have VS 2003 . i don't want to develop any thing right now but want to place some modules and check DNN 4.0 . but when i try opening my website with port number it give me following error . Do i require framework 2.0 installed (will it effect my DNN 2.1.2 which is installed already on same system?) what all changes i require to do apart from web.config changes . i use to do changes in sln and webinfo file too but here where i need to give port number

• VB DLL Problem when used in DNN 2.1.2

  Hello EveryOne, I am working on DNN version 2.1.2 and using vb dll which also have some Xml file(store procedure) ,ini and bat file . vb DLL use all above files . I am getting problem for reading vb function from dll when used in DNN , i have tried doing late binding too . where as if i run same in simple application created in dot net , its working fine but same thing is not working in DNN . Can anyone help me in finding steps what i need to do and where i am misisng . Thanks in advance, Rujuta

• Hide "View Options" menu

  I wanna use View Option page only when user wanna edit information , but when user is creating new information , this View Option page need not be visible . that is i am having "Save as" button which will redirect user to View Option page but when user is creating new record "save as " button will be enabled false , so i can redirect user to "view option page " but here my question is how can i remove view option from menu(Action control) list and also provide permission to all user to view option

  How can i make user to first see login screen and only after he login he can see all modules , till then user is not allowed to check all modules ? Please help ASAP Thanks in advance, Rujuta

  Thanks Nina and Erik, this is from where i started my forum with ...that is, is there any other way placing image apart from \image folder for sking and right now i understand that there is no other possibilities in DNN 2.1.2 where as DNN 3.* is been provided with this possibilities.   Nina, I have tried using StandardButtons in CSS but as i am using DNN 2.1.2 i think changes are not reflected on button . Please help Thanks , Rujuta
