[:)]Need an overview
Hi, I am looking for a solution for my website and can't be sure if Classifiels Starter Kit is the right one for my purpose. I have to put 2 menu systems one vertical and on horizontal on my site, both with submenus (Dorpdown for the horizontal and flyout for the vertical one). Can I realize my purpose with CSK? Could the "CSS Friendly ASP.NET 2.0 Control Adapters" be used/be integrated within CSK? Would be thankful for your suggesstions, Thanks Thomas

Re: Good bye CSK?
Yes, this is typically "Microsoft"! It has been always the same: It releases software with some bugs or improvement requirements and then other people, companies or developer have to fix them!!! BTW, thanks a lot Jody for the tip, it seems agaain like a bit hard work. Regards

Re: Good bye CSK?
I am also about to forget about CSK/GCN, .NET and Microsoft Technology at all. VS2005 gives you no possibility to choose and FORCES you to convert your projects to it's format. Whereas it (still?) can't success to convert the projects in an ordinary way and the developer gets error message after error message and has to spend hours to find the exact reason out and fix the problem. It's a real doom loop ...

Actually why ASP.NET?
I started the web development with ASP.NET, had no experience with ASP. Short time ago I had to configure and install an ASP application. It was amazing easy compairing ASP.NET. There were no common problems and complictions that normaly happen with ASP.NET, setting virtual directories, connection to database, blending pages, ... Now I wonder why the people use ASP.NET whereas the ASP is so uncomplicated and easy to use and configure? Regards

Converting from 2003 to 2005
Hello, Is there any way to prevent conversation tries of VS 2005? I have got many applications made with VS 2003 and any time the 2005 converts the application there appear lots of errors - most of them with Namespaces, and they take a long time in account. Or is there a general solution for this issue? Thanks!
