Text/HTML module... what does Search Summary (Optional) do exactly?
When you are putting text into a Text/HTML module, at the bottom you have an area labeled Search Summary (Optional)... What exactly does this do... Is it only used for internal search engine or is it used by external search engines like Google? Is this worth filling out?

Re: Google SiteMap
I have also noticed that the six pages it shows are simply my top level pages within the menu, ie. the ones across the top... But it is not going deeper into any of the submenu items.... Any ideas?

Relative URL's.... how to make full URLs
Is there a way to make the site use full URLs instead of relative URLs? I am trying to make sure the bots crawl my site efficiently.... So I was trying at a Google Sitemap module that makes and XML file of the pages.... but for everyone else it writes out the full URLs but for some reason mine writes out relative ones? Can anyone help with this? Also, it is not reading all my pages either just a small handful..... Just discovered that when friendly urls are turned on, it writes the full path... but

I just installed Dan Bartel's module on my DNN3.1 site.... However the page looks like: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> - <urlset xmlns=" http://www.google.com/schemas/sitemap/0.84 "> - <url> <loc>/Default.aspx?tabid=36</loc> <lastmod>2005-08-23</lastmod> <changefreq>always</changefreq> <priority>0.8</priority> </url> - <url> <loc>/Default.aspx?tabid=57</loc> <lastmod>2005-08-23</lastmod>

Robots.txt
Should we have a robots.txt file at the root to help crawlers? Is this going to make any diference?

Re: various unscheduled jobs... what do they do?
Can someone briefly explain each of these and whether they should be enabled? Thanks.

Re: Google SiteMap
anthony.glenwright wrote: bkhoward2001: Inventua HrefExchanger works with the Google Sitemap because we wrote specific code to support it - so I guess it's different in some way :-) It works in a very different manner to the built-in friendly URLs in DNN 3. We've also tested with a bunch of DNN modules and implemented specific behaviour to make it work properly with everything we've found problems with. Do you need HrefExchanger to utilize Google Sitemap? Thanks...
