  • Re: Auto Log Off Problem

Have you changed your timeout value to a small number in web.config?? jpenn wrote: Hello everyone! I'm seeing an issue with my DNN 3.2 site that when I am logged on as a user and click on approx 8 different pages I get sent to a log on screen. I never really noticed this before, but I can see it would be an issue with the users. Has anyone seen this behavior before and knows how to fix it? Thanks on advance. Jim Pennington

shware wrote: Hi, Upon initial installs I typically EXCLUDE the WebSite project from the build process. I then manually build the DotnetNuke.Library and the DotnetNuke.WebUtility projects. Then I Rebuild the entire solution (sans WebSite) to build the rest of the core DLLs. Then I Rebuild the web site. I hope this helps! Shawn When you say WebSite project...which project are you referring to?? I am having the same problem and can't get it fixed.

  • Re: Does anyone know anything about moodle?

I had it installed on my laptop a few months back. It was quite easy to use with some good "out-of-the-box" modules. However, I got the sense that there was not a huge and active community like there is for DNN. If you plan to install it......you should use XAMPP ( http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html ) to get your Apache, PHP and mySQL up and running quickly. Gordon

Was hoping there was somthing else that was similar out there that I could compare it to. If you can code in C# and have the time, you can modify the module to suit your specific needs. I personally think it is a very good module.

  • Automatically create blog when new user is created???

Hi. I was wondering if anyone has done any work to automatically create a blog (core blog) when a new user is created in DNN 3.1 or 3.2. If so, what stored procedures or VB code need to be modified.

I would like to know what you think about a CMS: 1. what is this? Isn't DNN CMS enough for you? 2. I don't need it, basic html features are enough! 3. It's a important piece of a portal solution! regards, Emerson 1. No DNN does not have enough CMS features...yet. In terms of lack of interest, this product ( http://www.dnnmasters.com/Default
