Re: epiFrame - Advanced iFrame module
Thanks for your response. I have enabled the "external domain" option in the edit-page, and I dont care about the auto-resize feature, but the error persists! I want only to get the parameters (querystring) from the url with the placeholder [epiframe]. Can you tell me if this normally works? I dont ask you to fix it, I understand that the time is precious, besides I ll try to make my own module, if this is not going to work for me.:P Thanks again Marirena Xagorari

Re: epiFrame - Advanced iFrame module
Hello, I was using your module control version 10.01 and worked just fine for internal/relatives URLs but for external domain I get the "Javascript error"-"object error" so I uploaded the 10.03 version but nothing changed an I get the same error. I tested not only on IE but also Netscape,Mozilla,Opera and the detailed error message is the following (from opera) Event thread: onload Error: name: ReferenceError message: Statement on line 1: Reference to undefined variable: No such variable 'NoticeOnLoad

Re: epiFrame - Advanced iFrame module
Good morning my problem is fixed because of the relative URL. The problem was produced when I tried to write http:://my_server_name/dotnetnuke/mypage.aspx and I got the msg "You have to write a valid URL" and I changed it to http://localhost/dotnetnuke/mypage.aspx but I got the error with the cross domain...etc.. Take your time.. Thank u for your great effort..

Re: epiFrame - Advanced iFrame module
Thank u for your reply. I have solved my second problem with the module settings Table in the Database where I set the src url /dotnetnuke/mypage.aspx and it works just fine. I use IE version 6.0 and my server address for dnn installation is http://my_server_name/dotnetnuke I ll wait for the release with the first (1) correction . Thanks again

Re: epiFrame - Advanced iFrame module
Thank u fo your beautiful and useful module..I want to report some problems about the module... I used the [epiFrame] placeholder like this: /dotnetnuke/url/mypage.aspx?Job=[epiFrame] and I call the page containing the module like this http://server/dotnetnuke/url/default.aspx?epiFrame=EP but in the end I dont get the parameter "EP" but the parameter " http://EP" ..Why this happens? ...That s the one problem and the second one is that in the Edit Page of the module I cannot give a relative url (without

Re: Editable DataGrid Update
It worked just fine! Thank you very much for your swift reply and your release. It looks great, I put in the edit page the dnn:texteditor usercontrol for editing some fields and some other details like the user name of the person that created the record. If you want one suggestion for your next release , you could put in the local resources the word Details, that appears , or you could give the choice to the user to select the word, or the column, that will link to the details page. Thanks again

Re: Editable DataGrid Update
Hello David, I want to thank you about your excellent work. I have used the editable advanced datagrid and I havedeveloped my own Details and Edit pages. As you mentioned only those that have edit rights can edit the datagrid, but what about the details page? Each time I click the Details link I have to login to view the Details..So is there any way to view the Details page without having edit rights? What I have to change in the code? Thanks again Marirena

WSS and multiple domain-named sites on IIS
Dear all, I read in WSS's Administrators Guide that you can create multiple domain-named sites per virtual server (For example, Server1 hosts http://user1.company.com, http://user2.company.com, http://user3.company.com, and so on. Each of these sites is a top-level Web site on the same virtual server, but they are mapped to different URLs. There can be one or many content databases, depending on the scale.) But I cannot figure out how you do it... I named a new site with DNS after I created a new
