  Hello Luis and thanks... that is what I'm looking for... I must delve a bit more to get what I'm trying to achieve. Have you ever seen how does the Community Server (C) installs? That step where you choose the SQL Server instance you have installed in your own machine to install the sql-scripts to make the app work? That is what I want to accomplish. Thanks again.

  Peter, there is an excellent article by Dino Esposito which explains and details how to build a pager control that works along with the Repeater and the DataList controls. It is a great solution to your problem, and you can still use the flexibility that the DataList offers. Regards.
