  • Re: Problem: SolPartMenu Skin CSS classes to control specific parts of menu not clear

With that I then went to the "horse's mouth", Jon Henning and got this information. First Jon pointed me to http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/109/threadid/21731/scope/posts/Default.aspx I tried that but nothing changed I replied to his message and then he pointed me to the correct problem which was that I had not changed the default.css, or perhaps I did change it and I forgot. Anyway, the default.css file specified the following: .MainMenu_MenuArrow { font-family

  • Problem: SolPartMenu Skin CSS classes to control specific parts of menu not clear

I may be dense or something, but I am missing something when it comes to understanding the exact css attributes to set in what classes to control specific parts of the solpartmenu. Can someone look at a site I am working on and tell me exactly what css class to place the exact attribute to turn off the items I want to turn off? I would really appreciate any help. Does anyone know of a graphical representation and help system that points to the parts of a solpartmenu and associates the classes that

  • Re: Cannot Login to DNN Website

Make sure that cookies are still enabled on that computer. You might have reset the security or privacy on that computer. Without cookies enabled for a DNN site you will not be able to login. You can go to Tools / Internet Options / Privacy tab / Sites button / type in www.dotnetnuke.com then click the Allow button. Try to login. Should work. If not, don't know what the problem might be, but you could set the Security tab items to their default by clicking the Default Level button.

Chiming in here . . . One of the most compelling reasons to visit asp.net is to see what the asp.net community is doing as a whole. I have noticed that the development activity on the mothership site seems to be less pronounced. There are numerous posts there that have not been answered and as a whole that concerns me. I am looking for "up-to-date" development experiences (almost "bleeding edge") and I don't see that being communicted clearly anywhere.

  • Re: www.smcculloch.net - Input string was not in a correct format.

Ok, I tried to enter a 0 in the Default Cache Time and I get this error now: A critical error has occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Is this "bug" being addressed?

I am getting this message when trying to add a module definition at the Add Definition link. I had a similar thing happen yesterday on the Host account when trying to change the site settings. Not sure what the problem is, but I will try to clear cache and then try logging in again, etc.

  • Visual Studio 2005 and DNN

Is anyone using Visual Studio 2005 Beta 2 to create custome modules for DNN 3.1 yet? What is required to fix all the errors generated when VS2005 opens either the DotNetNuke.sln or the DotNetNuke.vbproj?
