  Installed the club site all looks ok. Went to create a user and keep getting the "Password length minimum: 7. Non-alphanumber character 1. Try as I may it will not take a password. Same for the ASP.net Web Site Administrtion Tool. charlie-imac

• Events

  We are a non-profit searching for a events module that will allow us to post events, some are paid events where the members need to signup and pay via paypal. We also want to archive the events. You can see what we are doing at http://209.200.79.174/Events/tabid/53/Default.aspx. When the event has passed we would like to move it to the event archive for that year. We thought the person who had done (programmed) the gatech.edu had offered to make that module available but we never heard back from

  Thanks for the posts. We are looking at using mambo with mambo-phpshop. We find that the different modules for DNN require certain base DNN versions, have to be loaded in a particular order, seem to break the underlying DNN. We just don't know how stable DNN is with the modules added in and as we stated before support from the developers is probably some of the most unprofessional that we have seem. So until we finish testing mambo and mambo-phpshop we can't make a decision. arlie

• Shopping Cart

  We are in need of a simple shopping cart to sell templates (not dnn skins). The shopping cart needs to offer authorize.net or paypal as a payment option with immediate download of an exe or zip file. The cart needs to use a shared ssl. We have looked at both of the shopping carts offered at snowcovered but find that they are either more than what we need or the support from the developer is seriously lacking. We have contacted one other supposedly dnn asp developer but again the level of professionalism

• Urgent - unable to edit modules

  We were working on our site and changed our skin main.ascx and skin.css files, added a row to the top table, and added two new pages. Now when we go to the any of the pages we can no longer edit a module on any of our pages. We are logged in as admin. We also tried logging in as host. Sill not able to edit a module. How do we fix this? arlie

• Help with 404's in error log

  We have two 404's entries in our site log and need help identifying the problems. The first is /Portals/0/Fileid=14. How do we trace this down? We not not "live" yet and have 443 hits for this file. Second, /aspnet_client/system_web/1_1_4322/WebUValidation.js. Again, what is causing this error? Is this related to the host not having this file? Thanks for any help, arlie

• 3.0.12 Install Permissions

  We are installing 3.0.12 onto a shared hosted provider. We know from one unsuccessful install that the IUSR account needs a least write permissionon the portal folder. What other folders need IUSR permissions? and what IUSR permission (read,write, delete)? arlie
