  • Re: Problems installing Gallery Module from the DNN site

Looks like the Gallery Forum is back online: http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsProjects/tabid/795/forumid/9/scope/threads/Default.aspx This probably means that they are dogfooding the new version of the Forums Module, and "Crispy" has stated in the past that release of the Galley Module will happen within two weeks of the release of the Forums Module. But, the Gallery Module has missed previous hinted at relases in the past, so who knows? At least with the return of the Forum on the main

  • Re: 3.2.1 Upgrade Problems

Does this mean that 3.2.1 has essentially disabled all 3rd party modules? I guess I'll wait to upgrade at 3.2.2.

  • Re: Gallery Maintenance error

Dont' know why that link is not working for you, it works fine for me. It's nothing more than a link to the "Project::Forums" forum. Just go to the main DNN web site ( www.dotnetnuke.com ) and on the left hand side click on " DNN™ Forums for Projects ". Once there, scroll down to "Project :: Forums" and click on " Developing the Forums ". You will see several discussions there involving both the Forum module and the Gallery module.

  • Re: Gallery Maintenance error

The Gallery maintenance error had a fix posted in the Gallery Forum on the main site, but unfortunately that Forum has been down for quite some time now. You can find a discussion about the Gallery Integration at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsProjects/tabid/795/forumid/8/scope/threads/Default.aspx

  • Re: what determines the order of modules in a pane?

Still looking for an answer to this question. Every time I add a page to my site, I have to go through every module and edit the settings, retoggling " Display Module On All Pages?" so that the modules appearing on the new page get re-ordered to match the order of the modules on the main page. Shouldn't there be some way to do this automatically? I would think that the main point of the option " Display Module On All Pages?" is to have all pages look the same. Apparently it is not that simple.

  • Re: Installing Gallery Module

Installing the Gallery module isn't the problem, it's getting it to work once you have it installed. See http://forums.asp.net/1115207/ShowPost.aspx and http://forums.asp.net/971543/ShowPost.aspx

  • Re: DNN Gallery module probs

This installation problem is a separate issue. Once you are installed and running, and you've added dozens of photos to the module, it runs fine for several hours and then crashes for some mysterious reason (as described by Abernus at the beginning of this thread). Someone posted in the missing Gallery Project Forum that it was caused by a permissions problem. You can temporarily work around the problem by either reinstalling the module or resetting permissions on the dnn directory. Both of these

  • Re: DNN Gallery module probs

It's a common fault with this module. There is no work around. Hopefully they will release a new version soon. See http://forums.asp.net/1115207/ShowPost.aspx

  • Re: Gallery Project Forum?

There is a message in the home dnn site Project::Forums posted Nov. 19 by Chris Paterra which reads "There will be a new gallery release out next week, I am fairly certain of this."
