  Sorry for the belated post, but I only have so much time to do this stuff. OK, I still think this is a bug and here's why. I figured out the alias thing. I merely added additional comma separated values as aliases, thusly: 139.xx.xx.xxx/DotNetNuke, computername/DotNetNuke. I did the above to both a 2.1.2 install and the existing 3.09 install. Navigation was perfect in 2.1.2, and failed in the 3.09. (With friendly URL turned off in both installs.) Also, there was a post here suggesting this was a

  Thanks. Based on your explanation, why isn't everyone experiencing this issue (not that I doubt your explanation)? I searched, to the best of my ability, and could not find a similar post. And being new, just assumed that I had done something incorrectly. Would this be because, so far, everyone has just been accessing via the host machine? In regards to the fix, one should replace the Url with FullUrl variable (value) in the menu code? Correct?

  I'm always accessing via IP. Being new, I'm sure that I do not quite understand the portal alias concept. I merely installed and started adding pages, and then modules to the pages. I don't recall being prompted to create an alias. I have the DNN Guide published by Byte, but can't seem to find this concept. Thanks, in advance.

  the gemini site, issue 545, just said that he could not reproduce the error. Is that because that his test site is not a new clean install like mine, as opposed to an upgrade like his would likely be? Anyway, maybe I'm too thick, but I still do not know what to do. Should I intsall 2.1.2 and upgrade to 3.09? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  Intranet Site: I did a new install of DNN 3.09 on a Win 2003 Server. (this is the first app that has been installed on the machine) When I am on the localhost everything appears to work fine with navigation. When I access the same from another machine on the intranet, only the home page shows when I click on other pages. Oddly, the query string in the address box shows the correct tab id, but only the home page renders. Please help. I could not find a similar post. Thanks in advance.
