  • Re: #Portal - What is this?

Community Server :: Forums is in no way related to DNN, other then the fact that they are trying to get the Forums to work with DNN. This has already been acomplished with #Portal; in fact, it's been acomplished for months.

  • Re: #Portal - What is this?

I'm sorry to revive an old thread, but I just noticed this one now! I'm the creator of #Portal. Trust me, it was alive and well way before DNN. It was developed straight off IBuySpy (although not much remains), and I again, the concept and the first version of the portal was developed way before DNN was on the map; originally for use on Bink.nu (it needed to be high performance and reliablity, and I'm not sure what DNN does, but was developed from the ground up to use the awesome caching features

  • Feature Request: 'Add a Picture' Change

To add a picture in the current nGallery, you need to: Login to Admin Panel -> Click the "Edit" link on the image's gallery -> Click Add Single Picture. In my opinion, the step "Click the 'Edit' link on the image's gallery" isn't needed. If you added a column to add a single picutre in the Album Management datagrid, it would make my life (and im sure many other peoples) much easier! 99% of the time that I go into the admin panel is to upload an image. If I'm uploading an

  • Control Gallery Control

Would the ASP.NET team care to give us a big gift... the Control Gallery Control? It would be perfect for one of my current projects, and I figure, why reinvent the wheel when this one works well ;-). I did a little browsing, and some recent posts show that I'm not alone with the need for this control ;-).

  • JS Link Drop Down Generator with Web Controls

I'm looking to impliment a drop-down style menu with a text input box, and a "search" button - something like if you click the "search" button here: http://www.daniweb.com/techtalkforums/ I've found this: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/dropmenuindex.htm, but I'm having trouble embedding ASP.NET Server Tags into the menu. I understand that web controls are server side, and js is client side. I don't want to render the control with JS, I want the asp.net rendered (converted

  • Problem with MetaWeblogAPI

I'm using the open source XMLRPC for .NET client to connect to the .Text MetaBlogAPI page, and to retrieve posts. .getRecentPosts("0","Tekmaven","mypass",5); works perfectly, retriving five posts. However, .getPost(Convert.ToString(219),"Tekmaven","mypass"); does not work (yes, I'm sure #219 exists, and the username and password are correct). I put a try/catch block around the method, and this is the stack trace: ---------------------------------
