Have a look at the Smart-Thinker HomePage module - each user can create their own page (although you can restrict who can do this by Role) and they can add modules from a pre-defined Admin list. They can change who can see the modules and the containers, layout etc. Is this applicable to non-homepage pages?. I'm specifically interested in certain users/roles being able to create/delete pages (ideally using a specified page as a template

  • Is there support for non-admins creating pages?

Does DNN support delegating the ability to create pages to non-Admin user roles/users? To be even more specific, I'll like specific non-admin users/roles to be able to create pages (ideally based on an existing page as a template) under a specific menu entry (named "Our Projects" in my case). The user/roles will them be able to customize the page's content by accessing the admin-view of the modules on the page. Is this possible with DNN only?. If not, any robust modules out there?. I'm a little unfamiliar with making changes to the web.config beyond adding my connection string server info. Yes, I did that just yesterday. You should download 3.1.0 too as it contains an installation guide that explains the changes that needs

This could create some kind of problems to backup the database by some tool outside of your aplication. But if DotNetNuke can provide the way to backup, the problem is solved. Have you used Firebird in embedded mode with a busy/very-busy web application?. I'm really intrigued about the possibility of that mode of usage but can't help feeling that it won't scale since the database

Just like puppies, it is your choice as to which group you want to be placed.

Thanks, nokiko. Will look into this. Already built my own menu server controls, just finishing off the skinobjects. Will probably go the module way. Cheers!
