Re: Allowing Full Trust for a specific IIS web site
Scott thanks for the info. Just to make sure I am on the right path. Am I right in thinking that "Default Web Site" in the
<location allowOverride="false" path="Default Web Site">
line refers to the site description in IIS and would work for any of the other site descriptions? I am aware of the security implications but thanks for clarifying them. Antony

Re: Allowing Full Trust for a specific IIS web site
Tareq, thanks for the response. We run each site/app in their own application pool using individual user accounts and don't want to run them with a high level account. I believe that we can do what we want by adding entries to the machine web.config, I just don't know the entries. Antony

Allowing Full Trust for a specific IIS web site
In our enviroment we have set the .Net trust level to 'Medium' and set override=False. Now we want to allow some specific sites to run at full trust without every site owner being able to override the default medium level. How can I do this? Would assume it involve some additional entries in the machine web.config file. TIA Antony

Re: Recommendations for e-commerce module?
Surprised about you not getting good Customer service from Susanne on my experience that has been the best thing and up there among the best support I have seen for 3rd party modules. As to ease of use... well there is a pretty steep learning curve. The product is pretty flexible and powerful and as a result has a LOT of options that need to be set for the specific purpose you want to use it for. For an easy to use one do a search on Snowcovered and look for one that is built specifically for the

Tool for scraping a DNN site for offline viewing
Has anyone got a suggestion for a tool that will scrape/download a DNN site so the site can then be burnt to a CD and viewed? I just need to get copies of pages for an authenticated user. TIA Antony

Re: Non Admins view Members
My suggestions have a look at the UCanUse user attributes module.. probably a bit of an overkill in features but would do wat you want. Also www.effority.net has some user modules that might do what you want. HTH Antony

Hi Brian NP on the advice all part of the DNN community 'thing'. On www.dotnetnuke.com go to the downloads section and download the documents zip file for the version you are using. Also another resource I use is Nina Meiers site www.xd.com.au. Hope these get you started. Antony

Re: Betreft: Re: Requirements for hosting a DNN and some other questions. (from an absolute newbie in CMS)
Essentially yes. SQL2005 is the latest MSSQL and isn't provided by all web hosts. You don't need a host with DNN experience, personally though, if you are looking for a shared enviroment (as apposed to a Dedicated server) I would use a host that does have some experience with DNN. Spend some time looking through these forums to familiarise yourself with some of the issues that can crop up. Installing and maintaining the back end of a CMS is quite different from using the CMS front end. http://www
