Re: UPDATED: AJAX FAQ? And: How to Style the AJAX tab control's tabs: complete information
You're welcome! I went through those same 5 hours of frustration...and that's why I took the time to make the initial post on this. The docs just don't cut it on this one. Glad to help... -Andrew

Re: AJAX FAQ? And: How to Style the AJAX tab control's tabs: complete information
One other thing that helps when I am having issues with loading the images: copy the image files directly to the folder where the rest of your website image files are, and reference them directly from there in the CSS. That way you can eliminate one more variable. Remember that just copying the physical files to the directory is not enough-- you have to right -click on that folder , select "Add New", and navigate to the image files. HTH, -Andrew

Re: AJAX FAQ? And: How to Style the AJAX tab control's tabs: complete information
Mike- FWIW, I am successfully using the tabs in a Content Page linked to a Master Page, and have been for months, through a few different releases of the Toolkit. I have not tried using Themes with the tabs, as I don't generally use Themes. I have always used the Tabs with my CSS in a separate file, linked in the head as you said. I have occasionally found issues with this method, however; and so, if you are trouble-shooting issues with styling the Tabs, I recommend moving the CSS declarations

Re: ASP.NET 2.0 - FormView not clearing entered data on Insert when hidden
Yep, turning off the ViewState did it. I feel stupid, I had thought of that before and forgot to try it. Points to you! How's the weather in Bucureşti today? Thanks, -Andrew

Re: ASP.NET 2.0 - FormView not clearing entered data on Insert when hidden
If you read my original post, you will see that I already am clearing the textboxes as a workaround. I was hoping for a solution that didn't require additional code. Where are you suggesting that I re-bind the FormView?

Re: ASP.NET 2.0 - FormView not clearing entered data on Insert when hidden
I make the FormView visible in the linkbutton's Click event. Here are the contents of the Click event for the Insert button of the FormView: Protected Sub InsertButtonAge_Click( ByVal sender As Object , ByVal e As System.EventArgs) GridViewAge.DataBind() FormViewAge.Visible = False lblRightAge.Visible = False End Sub The GridView shows all the records; I re-bind it so it will show the just-inserted record. I have tried moving the visibility code to the FormViewAge_ItemInserted() event; it makes

ASP.NET 2.0 - FormView not clearing entered data on Insert when hidden
Hey folks- Anybody seen this behavior? I have a FormView with 2 textboxes, which is hidden when the page loads- its Visibility property is set to False. I also have a linkbutton, which, when clicked, shows the FormView by setting its Visibility to True using server-side code. So far, so good; the user enters data and clicks the Insert button, which creates a new record, and the FormView is hidden. The problem is, when the user goes to enter another new record, and clicks the linkbutton which shows

Re: Null Reference Exception in SessionStateModule
Jeff- I'm no expert with this, but I would recommend you take this up with Dundas Tech Support. My guess is that their chart control does something security-wise or appdomain-wise that no longer works with the patch. Since your page works without their control, I suspect the issue is with their control, and I think you will get the fastest fix from them directly... HTH, -Andrew

Re: AJAX FAQ? And: How to Style the AJAX tab control's tabs: complete information
Glad it helped. I know I was going crazy trying to figure it out myself the first time! That's good to know about adding the control dynamically. When I get a few minutes, I'll write that up & put it on my blog as well. -Andrew
