Re: What is the portal timezone designed for?
What you do is simple. It takes some hard codeing. Put a string with time +- as many hour as you are off the server. Thats all. Recompile and you are set. When you set your portal to show date and time it will show it as if it picked it from your local computer. I have not checked where to make the changes yet, but if you can not fix it I will step up and give you a hand.

Re: Suggestion for Forums
I can only speak for myself, and I give hi five for this. Not all that found if it myself, but have seen posts indicating this will be fixed soon, but that was a long time ago. And what is up with the beta search? It has been beta search for sometime now, and some of us are waiting for something better. -still waiting

Re: Content Management?
First off I will start by saying that as far as I know Dnn has not made any plans to include CMS in Dnn. But hopefully I am wrong, This thread was rather entertaining to read:-) Lots of different thoughts, but as I see it, this thread has not moved on. Sure there are different needs and different solutions when it comes to CMS, but what is importent here is getting this matter adressed firmly. Lets not stop this thread, and lets not focus on the differnt schooldbooks or real life techincs we can

Re: Why does 100% Css Desing Fail in Dnn? (No Tables)
As I said, a true wizard:-)) I don't have the time to play around before friday night, but I will check it out then. For the moment I don't have Illustrator, and I am currently using mostly Firework to do vector work. But I guess I will be able to do the same in Fireworks too. If however I get stucked, I will post here for more help. But your guiding looks very good, so I am sure its all ok. Thx for taking the time to fix a look for 2.1.2 as well. Clue

Re: Why does 100% Css Desing Fail in Dnn? (No Tables)
Great, nokiko. Can you post a link? I have been flooded with workloads, and will try get the Css designed done this weekend. Sadly the day only holds 24hrs, and when spend you 10-12 og them working you axx off, and another couple of hrs in external meetings it is impossible to get any Dnn work done. But it looks like my schedual will be better in a week, so guess I will post it during next week. Hey nokiko, u r known here to be a graphic wizard, maybe you can give me some advise? I had some trouble

Possible to use solmenu vertically and horizontal?
I need to make a site with lots a pages, and the customer wants both a vertcal and a horizontal menu. Can I do this with solpart? I know I can use 3rd party modules for this, such a treev view from dotnetjedi, but I have not used it before, so skinning it to match the horizontal menu is probably as much work as putting the effort into tweaking the solpart. Pls post links to threads, or sites that can help me. clue

ZoneAlarm Pro(firewall) causes SQL problems
When I changed to software Firewall, I got lots of problems running asp.net and Dnn. Unfortunatly zonelabs does not support me, cause ZA pro don't "officially" support servers. But speaking to their support, and via email, I am told several of their customers run ZA pro under winXP, with IIS and SQL running.(ZA pro 5.1.033.000) Unfortunatly I have not been able to get them to read my thead on Zonelabs support forum. I bought ZA pro after talking on with a salesrep, and was told IIS and

Re: When is 3.0 going public?
Ok, I know there is work to be done, but does anyone know anything about a release date? Have there been anything indicating a release is ready in near future? Is there anyone willing to give us a *wild* timeframe? Are we looking for 1 week, 2, or maybe 8 weeks? I hope you coreteam members don't take this the wrong way, we are only bugging you with threads like this because we totally adore the work you do, and our impatience is just a messure for dnn's popularity. But for me and most of the rest

When is 3.0 going public?
Is it going to be released today? Did read that november 1st was the release date, but is that date final? From what I have seen so fare, 3.0 is a great step, a milestone in Dnn lifecycle. It will be a great codebase! Good going to all in the core team, I honor all the work , and all the hours you all put in. clue

Re: Why does 100% Css Desing Fail in Dnn? (No Tables)
So what does 3.0 look like? Are we set to be as amazed as with 2.0, or even more? Anyway, realy looking forward to the release. For the xhtml part, I am not sure about the buggy html, I will look more into this over the next weeks. I guess what I am trying to say, is that if we create some PA or even core change that take care of our problems regarding html 4.0, then we are much more free when it somes to xml, and implementing other excisting software/modules to work well with dnn. Many companies
