Re: Error running PwDbDeployment.bat
English (UK) will implement a sorting preference that is incompatible with PWDB. Please drop the database, set the language to be English (US) and reinstall.

Re: arguments why WS2003ENT ED. instead of WS2003STD ED.
One other technical item is which processor platform are you using? One of the x86 processor platforms has memory controllers per processor with a high speed bus linking the two. The server motherboards typically have memory slots assigned to each processor/memory controller combination. This is a Non-Uniform Memory Access type of platform. When the OS supports NUMA, the threads and data are arranged to better optimize the memory assigned to the processor to prevent delayed fetches across memory

Re: HMC 3.5 Feature Pack 1 now available
We only tested the Feature Pack on a full HMC 3.5 deployment. In theory, it should work. But I can't say "yes it does." You would completely build out the HMC 3.5 environment following your walkthrough of choice and then add the Feature Pack to it. You cannot integrate the Feature Pack and deploy HMC initially at the same time. The FP must be installed after the environment is already HMC 3.5.

Re: ModifyUserMailboxQuota is it available
You might want to check out the Feature Pack that just became available. It has some interesting features around Mailbox Quotas and Resource Manager that might be valuable.

Re: HMC 3.5 Error can someone please help!
This usually happens when files are not completely copied from the source media to the Deployment MSI Share. The copy process happens when you install the deployment tool. Generally speaking, it works well with UNC paths, but sometimes it doesn't because of file path length limitations. Please try to install the deployment tool again from a CD drive or a share path to the root of what would be the normal root when in a CD drive. Also if this is an upgrade, meaning the server had a previous build

Re: Can't connect using outlook.
Did you complete the steps inside of Exchange to configure the front end & back end RPC Proxy settings? Did you reboot AD & Exchange after you performed this?

Re: PST Tool
This was probably an error in the slide deck. There was a feature to perform PST import that was removed from the 3.5 Solution and may ship at a later undertermined time. Sorry for the error.

Re: problems with collectWmiLogonInformation
Is the OS language set to US-Eng? Is the account the scheduled process runs under a local admin and a full Exchange admin?

Re: Is there a Version in the works that is Based on Sql 2005
Just being extremely clear on the topic. The above link is how to perform Data Hosting for customers using SQL 2005 with our Windows-based Hosting 3.5 Solution. The backend databases for MOM, PWDB, Reporting and MPS do not support SQL 2005 in native mode at this time, nor has any configuration of these services running on SQL 2005 been tested.
