Re: How to change color of inner lines in Datagrid/Gridview
That one just changes the color of the outer border, not the lines in the grid.

Re: How to add a footer row to a table after deleting all footer rows
OK, I got it! For some reason I did not see Table Header|Table Footer on the context menu -- I swear, it wasn't there before. But it is now -- thanks.

Re: How to add a footer row to a table after deleting all footer rows
Unfortunately, I don't have any groups in this table. Just a header row and a detail row.

How to add a footer row to a table after deleting all footer rows
I'm sure this is a very easy thing to do, but I can't figure out how to do it. I have a table, and I deleted all the footer rows. Now I would like to add one footer row. How do I do that? If I right-click on the detail row and select Insert Row Below, it is, of course, another detail row. I'm stumped -- thanks for any help you can give!

Re: "Input string was not in a correct format"
ReportItems!CountyBilling2.Value is actually a report field, not something I get from a database. So you are saying that if CountyBilling2.Value is blank, it will still evaluate it and try to multiply it by 2, even though that path will not be executed?

"Input string was not in a correct format"
[rsRuntimeErrorInExpression] The Value expression for the textbox ‘Calc’ contains an error: Input string was not in a correct format. Why is this code to populate the textbox getting that error: =IIf(ReportItems!LocalBallots.Value<>"" AND ReportItems!CountyBallots.Value<>"" AND ReportItems!CountyBallots.Value<>"0" AND ReportItems!CountyBilling2.Value<>"",ReportItems!CountyBilling2.Value*2,"") The problem is the multiplication

Re: "The server response was: Syntax error, command unrecognized"
FYI, this was resolved by Dave Wanta at Advanced Intellect ( www.advancedintellect.com ), who suggested I remove the username and password from the web.config. Once I did that, the error went away. Currently I just have the network host property set, with no credentials. It's a mystery why it suddenly stopped working, but Dave thinks something in the mail server must have changed.

Re: html safe textbox problem
If you print out the text using the Server.HtmlEncode( text ) method, your angle brackets (or any other kind of unsafe characters) won't be interpreted as HTML code.

"The server response was: Syntax error, command unrecognized"
This is the error I get when I try to create a user using the CreateUserWizard control. The user is created, but the error seems to occur when the application tries to send a notifying email to the just-created user's email address, containing the automatically-generated password. Here is the relevant (topmost) portion of the stack trace: at System.Net.Mail.MailCommand.CheckResponse(SmtpStatusCode statusCode, String response) at System.Net.Mail.MailCommand.Send(SmtpConnection conn, Byte[] command

Re: get_isInAsyncPostBack() returns false
Oh OK, I see. This check is used to see if another request is already in progress. Thanks.
