Re: HMC4.0 CreateMailbox error
I expect it's caused by the Windows Management Framework Core update (KB 968930) on the MPS Engines.
Look like you are right. I've installed KB968930 on my test MPS box and CreateMailbox started to behave in the same way: "A parameter cannot be found that matches parameter name 'Alias '". Uninstallation and server reboot fixed the problem.

Re: HMC4.0 CreateMailbox error
Run MPF Trace to see what is going on whaen MPS process request. Check if Exchange Management Tools on MPS server is the same version as Exchange server (SP/UR level)

Re: Exchange 2007 can't resolve name for Administrator
Sorry, not "Default AL". It should be address list "All Users".

Re: Exchange 2007 can't resolve name for Administrator
Populate administrator's user object attribute showInAddresssLists with proper AL/GAL.

Re: Exchange 2007 can't resolve name for Administrator
Default AL must be listed as well. User must have read access to both address lists objects.

Re: Request to "Active Directory Provider Create Object" error
Hello,
Did I miss something? Where I'm wrong?
Replace string ' < request xmlns = "http://provisioning.microsoft.com/MPF" xmlns:xsl = "http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" > ' with ' < request xmlns:xsl = "http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" >'. Reference to MPF schema is good only for IntelliSense in VS. It breaks requests execution on most cases.

Re: HMC 4.0 - reconnecting a mailbox
pasttor, Your procedure is totally fine and I did the same things two or three times in the past. I prefer to do not use it any more for two major reasons: 1. Too much of manual labor (low level AD editing) and as result - higher chances to make mistake. 2. Number of tombstoned objects in our AD is so huge, that simple enumeration takes 15-20 minutes ;-) In some cases you simply do not another way to fix problem (i.e. mailstore deleted from Exchange before being removed from MPS Resource Manager

Re: OAB/AL - after a RUS
Enjoy.
when I look at the AL/GAL (in Exchange System Manager) it does not show all the users, just the users with the original domain
ESM shows you "preview" of AL/GAL - how address lists will look like when RUS is running.

Re: OAB/AL - after a RUS
These two problems have a root cause, the OAB (AL/GAL), I guess.
Correct. RUS stamped user's showInAddressBook attribut acording AL/GAL LDAP filer.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
Use ADSIEdit to manualy update showInAddressBook attribute for each user. Plus you have to chack an attribute that say what OAB user must use (sorry, I don't remeber its name) and update it as well. Or you try touse EnsureAddressListStamp
