Re: TTT Mixed Mode Authentication
Hi sconard many many user are waiting for the seond adsi module from TTT. Tam was pointing out that it should be released shortly after the first authentication module but this was at the end of Feb. I am in the same boat and check the TTT pages and this forum every day if there is an update regarding the ADSI module. Hopefully some other users are now looking into it because Tam sent the source code for the module to some other users and they hopefully keep cracking to get the form authentication

Re: Wierd problem with DNN 3.1.3 defaulting to install page
Hi K Yes, i got a similar problem. It appears to be that when the DNN portal is idle for around 15 minutes, the install page comes up after opening the portal page. When refreshing the page , it then shows up normal. It ndrives me insane as well especially when my boss wants to access the page and looks at an application error message and a path pointing to the install file. i have tried a complete reinstall and it hasn't changed. i did not have this problem with 3.0.12. Wired. Maybe someone else

that happens since upgrade from 3.0.12 to .13
I have a wired problem here. When the dnn portal is idle for a while and want to load dnn inside my browser, i always get the install path first ( http://...../Install/Install.aspx?mode=Install ). For some reason when i refresh the page, the page loads normal. Does anyone know why it referes to the install path after been idle for a while and how to solve it? Thanks

Re: Windows Authentication for DNN3.0
Nitro, are you saying that once you upgraded from 2.1.2 to 3.0.12 that the ADSI modules were working or at least the ADSI import module? When that would be the case, i would try it right away myself.

Re: Windows Authentication for DNN3.0
yeah, it would be great when this module would come out soon. really looking forward to it. we had to go back to dnn 2.1.2 because of the authentication module which is essential for our internet/intranet. we basically have everything ready for dnn 3 but just waiting for the form against AD module. cheers for all the great work.

Re: Who actually got the ADSI authentication working?
Hi Andrew, That last post isn't meant to sound like it does. We have been constantly watching the progress of this thread to see how people are getting on with implementing the authentication module. As we have have had very little success like a lot of other people have. Some of what came out in the last post is a lot of vented frustration. The promise of other parts of the authentication module becoming available in a couple of days which is now turning into weeks is putting a damper on our change

Who actually got the ADSI authentication working?
We have followed the instructions, emailed Tam etc but after hours and late nights of trying to get the authentication working, still no luck. I see in this thread that people got it up and running. I am just wondering how on earth they archieved that goal? have they modified the code or programmed their own ADSI module? Many of us still having problems with it but no solutions to our problems are coming forward. I am very frustrated at this stage because we are relying on this authentication to

Re: Windows Authentication for DNN3.0
Hi we are experiencing exactly the same problem. the way we found to overcome the problem was after we logged in and logged out, was to delete the cookie. refreshing the browser would then login again. obviously this is not a fix but shows that there is an issue with generating the session cookies. on another note, we have discovered that once we logged out, we could not log back in using any other AD user logon. Whether they existed in DNN or not. Hope that helps in finding the issue. Holger
