  I have used telerik and component art before and found that Telerik control is better than component art one. Especially with the AJAX and ATLAS compabilities. I never use the infragistics before. The telerik control is worth the money to buy. I have tested and their component works on all browser. You can also search lots of asp.net controls from the site below http://www.worldofasp.net

  To host your site using Windows XP and using your own internet connection, you need to have Static IP assigned to your machine. If not, then you can use Dynamic DNS service from www.dyndns.org . however this is not recommended way of hosting a reliable website If you have static ip, then you can just set your domain DNS A Record to your static ip and thats all You can have free dns service from http://www.zoneedit.com
