Re: I am trying to add a client and server side event to the html editor (the edit panel and design panels). Please help!
Hi Vince: Yes, I had seen that link. But the missing info makes the article not as useful, though it was informative. For instance, you add an onclick attribute, but don't show the line of code that would have the client code manage a server-side event. Also, I don't know what this sentence means: "It's no way to define server-side onclick of it. " Does it mean there is no way to define server-side code? Do you mean: "It's not a good way to define server-side code?"

How does one debug the javascript in the Ajax Control Toolkit v3.5 with Visual Studio 2008???
This is really frustrating that I have to ask this, after spending 2K for VS 2008. It was a nightmare in VS 2005, but at least Scott Guthrie clearly explained how to get it working. In 2008 it's supposed to work 'out of the box', but of course, it ain't working. And am I the only who HATES the stupid 'website' projects that hide all of the code in ridiculously named files? Worst idea ever. Here's what I've done. 1. Downloaded the ACT 3.5 toolkit w/source from Codeplex

I am trying to add a client and server side event to the html editor (the edit panel and design panels). Please help!
Hello: I am trying to add a client side key up event to the edit and design panel of the .NET 3.5 HtmlPanel ajax control. What I want to do is check for specific characters pressed. If the character(s) checked are NOT pressed, then i want to cancel the server-side event. Otherwise I want the server-side event to process that keydown, but to send it something other than the normal eventargs. instead I want to pass in some of the DOM information (not all of it!!, just a couple of things, like mousex

Hows does one replace the old microsoft.web.preview.dll??
I have looked far and wide for an answer for this, to no avail. I have a drap and drop control I am attempting to move to current technology (ie, AJAX Control Extensions and AJAX Control Tookit). However, the control I am starting from (since there is a complete dearth of information on IDraggable and IDroppable), uses the Microsoft.Web.Preview.dll and references two .js files: <asp:ScriptReference Assembly="Microsoft.Web.Preview" Name="PreviewScript.js" /> <asp:ScriptReference

Re: Where does Microsoft support Web Application Projects in the 'Guidance Automation Toolkit' or Extensions?
Anyone? How are we architects supposed to build VS Templates for Web Application Projects, with no code in the Guidance Automation Toolkit to support WAPs?

Where does Microsoft support Web Application Projects in the 'Guidance Automation Toolkit' or Extensions?
Why isn't there any code at all in Guidance Automation Toolkit (for creating customized VS Templates for VS2005), for supporting Web Application Projects? And if there is, why isn't it included in the GAT? Can someone from Microsoft take responsibility for this glaring omission and supply code for creating customized template using Web Application Projects in the Guidance Automation Toolkit? Can someone from Microsoft please take responsibility for a glaring omission tell us where to access
