Re: ? re: experience with DNN Content Builder
I have just installed this successfully and will be working with it to determine if it will provide what I need. it looks very promising. To get it working you need to follow the threads on the forums. there is one error in the sqldataprovider file and 3 lines to remove in the .dnn file. if you try to install it and it fails, you need to completely remove the tables from the server in order to install again. remove the stored procedures as well.

How about SELECT '<img src=' + ImageName + '>' as myImage FROM Table myImage can be any name. i don't know if it will work, but it is worth a try.

I've been looking to do something like this too. I recently took Efficion's Articles module and made some changes to the code. The current version allows the administrator to set the module to "require approval" before making the article public. I've added a new capability of creating an "admin" from a role in DNN to approve the articles. I've also added the ability to align images individually on the page. Efficions current version aligns all images to whichever location set. They have also added

Re: Blackboard Replacement...
I am currently administering a Blackboard installation. For #4 email, it requires a separate email server to send email. Students use any email. DotNetNuke can handle this with no problem. Many features of Blackboard could be done with independent modules and I may try to recreate the BB experience with DotNetNuke. I believe DnnElearn is doing some things that will make this much easier. There are several other features that Blackboard has that would be nice. 10. Online Gradebook with assignments
