Load skin from different folder based on query string
Hi I have followed the thread here "http://forums.asp.net/1/1067496/ShowThread.aspx" before rasing this question. I got the switcheroo.ascx as explained by Nik to work. I also saw the code in Default.vb that loads the skin based on skinsrc cookie. I feel however that neither of these address the requirement for loading skins from different skin folder. Example: Based on the value in my querystring I would like to load DNN-Blue on DNN-Red All the sample codes do is load a different ascx within the

Re: Buy photos that I can redistribute as part of my skins
Hi Thanks for the replies. I did check out that thread and the links there, however most of the sites I visited are "tooooo" expensive to get any "rights managed" images. Do people that create skins for sale, say on snow covered, purchase "royalty free" images or "rights managed" images? Also how would one guaranteee that the images that one would to include in the skins for sale would not be used separately elsewhere by someone who is buying the skin ? Thanks

Re: Buy photos that I can redistribute as part of my skins
Hi I tried looking up Corbis, but I could not find their "usage guidelines". I need to know how much one pic/subscription would cost me for putting in web templates for sale. Can I use the "royalty free" photos for that or do I have to use the "managed rights" photos ? Would you happen to know ? Thanks

Re: How do I find out (in code) if the current page is the default page for the portal ?
Hi Chris I tried to check PortalSettings.HomeTabId = PortalSettings.ActiveTab.TabId, but the value of PortalSettings.HomeTabId comes as -1. This doesnt match with the Active tab Id. Thanks

Re: DNN 4.0 missing code!
Hi Visit this website http://dnnjungle.vmasanas.net/ for a good tutorial for starting development. I would suggest building a few simple "hello world" , "hello mars" etc modules before making the leap to a commercial one. Cheers
