• Re: Its time to move classifieds to Asp.Net MVC

All I can say is... Once you touch Ruby On Rails, you will not think of anything else. Start learning Ruby, since C# 3.0 and C# 4.0 is almost based on Ruby. Ruby on .Net = IronRuby ( currently at 0.9.1 ) and 1.0 is round the corner. With IronRuby, you can work with .Net like VB.Net, C# . One you touch Ruby or IronRuby you will not touch any other language thats for sure. Please... also let me know, whats so special about VB.Net 9.0, since i am out of touch with Vb.Net since ages.

  • Its time to move classifieds to Asp.Net MVC

Hi, I think, we had enough of progress on Classified starter Kit based on Web Forms. Its time to move ahead with the future and that would be to convert the classified starter kit to Asp.Net MVC Classified Starter Kit. It would be much easier to maintain and extends with Controller. I mean C from MVC Act Right now, before its late and the charm is lost.
Hi there, We're currently working on a number of end-to-end applications written using ASP.NET MVC. They're not done yet, but when they are they'll be available for everyone to download and see how they're built. • Re: Preview 4 and IronRuby / IronPython Support...?
I don't recall any declaration of official support. The closest thing I'm aware of is that some of the demonstrations made using IronRuby + ASP MVC used Codeplex Preview 4 bits, but those demonstrations shouldn't be mistaken for officially supported functionality.
Hi, Please refer to the latest blog by John Lam ( DLR Team ) on www.iunknown.com Here is the link... I am also pasting a sentences from that blog, for your immediate reference -------

  • Unusual Questions about ActiveRecord, Migrations and Scaffolding in Asp.Net MVC

Hi, All i know is IronRuby shall work like a charm on DLR. Along with it, it brings IronRuby on Rails and Active Record as well. Currently...I am devoting enough time for Asp.Net MVC every day, which raised few questions. Let me come to the points one by one. (1) Can I use Active Record / DataMapper with Asp.Net MVC....? It offers me (1) Migration (2) ORM support (3) Scaffolding. Since Active Record is just a Real Ruby implementation, i think it should work on DLR, but i am not too sure. (2) What
