Re: ModalPopupExtender and Update Panel - Have to click twice after hiding ModalPopupExtender
What I am having to do for this, is on whichever command you are using that actuall closes the popup, simulate a click onto another control, the click never fires but does mean when you click the target again the popup fires again. document.getElementById('txtSashTxtBack').click();

Hi, I had the same problem as the original poster, I made the mistake of opening the website with FrontPage, removed the front page extensions and it all worked. Thanks for the pointers

I have the exact same problem withe the Help baloon script, can you remember where you posted for this and which answer you got, doing my head in as I am using this all over my site and just encountered this when I started using them inside update panels!!

I got a little confused with this post so here is my solution for anyone googling this answer up like i did! As of Ajax 1.0 build Dec 07 in code behind put the following to close a panel extender Me.CollapsiblePanelExtender1.Collapsed = True Me.CollapsiblePanelExtender1.ClientState = "True"
