Re: Email Management Newsletter Project - anyone want to contribute?
jwgiii: Create Email screen - Email tab the to: dropdown box is not populating even though I have a mailing list created. On the Manage Mailing List Screen I checked Viewable by All Users -- now the to: dropdown box is populating. I thought the Viewable by All Users function -- stopped users from managing the mailing list only. Thanks, Joe.

Re: Email Management Newsletter Project - anyone want to contribute?
Jason, this is an awesome module. It installed with no problems. The user interface is very intuitive. You are very talented. You should be on the core team. I know this is beta. So, here is what I found: Create Email screen - Email tab the to: dropdown box is not populating even though I have a mailing list created. the "Save" and "Cancel" buttons both execute the cancel command. the Subscriptions screen is not populating the emails to subscribe to. Enhancement Suggestion: To take care of odd ball

Re: Is there a way to make a child portal private so that it can not be accessed by simply typing in the url?
jwgiii wrote: Is there a way to make a child portal private so that it can not be accessed by simply typing in the url? For example: www.parentportal.com has a child portal www.parentalportal.com/childportal If a user types in the www.parentalportal.com/childportal url they go directly to the child portal, but I want the child portal to only be accessed through a link on the parent portal home page. Is this possible? Many Thanks, Joe. Anyone have a solution to the above. Thanks, Joe.

Re: How do I stop Windows Admin user group from automatically adding users with admin priveleges?
Is this on the radar to be fixed anytime soon? The auto assignment flag would be a big help. Thanks, Joe.

Re: SuperUser-only modules
dantindall wrote: You can do this, but you will need to modify the core code. The process could be something like: 1. Create new stored procs that get the modules you want based on the IsAdmin or IsSuperUser. 2. Modify the DAL code to use the new stored procs 3. Modify the code that loads the drop down list in the control panel to display the correct listing of modules based on the currently logged in user. I've also been looking in this and may (if time permits) come up with this core mod. If I

Re: How do I stop Windows Admin user group from automatically adding users with admin priveleges?
jwgiii wrote: Item#2: My company has added several people to the "Admin" group under windows, but I don't want them to have Admin rights to DNN313 - Thanks for checking on this. Joe. Another solution - if possible - would be to change some admin functions to "host only" functions i.e. the admin menu which appears at the top of the page (above the regular menu) that allows you to add modules could be changed to a "host only" function . Maybe? Joe.
