Jos. Thank you for your solution. This was a great help and I am very thankful for your assistance. I seems to have worked fine with one of my installations. I will now go to the others. Again, thanks Jack

  • Re: DNN2 Module's Pencil Not Displaying

I found that the images became corrupted during the upload/unzip process. Don't know why. Anyhow, I solved the problem by using ftp to upload unzipped versions of the images into their proper subdirectories. Regards, Jack

  • Link Verification

Does anyone have or know of software to parse the DNN tables to identify and verify that external links are active? I have a client that has a high number of external links embedded in text. We intend to propose to the client to use the DNN Link module rather than embedded links in text. In either case, I'm looking for software that can identify the external links in either Link or Text tables and determine if the links remain active or are broken. Regards, Jack

  • Re: DNN2 Module's Pencil Not Displaying

I'm getting in the middle of Mike's problem. My apologies, but on the serface it appears to be similar. My situation is in using the standard skins incorporated with DNN. When I established the site, I uploaded the DNN zip file that I received directly from the DNN site. I unzipped the contents to the DotNetNuke directory. I am baffled, unless I established my directory incorrectly. My directory hierarchy is c:\hosting\webhost4life\member\vsc (this is the root established for the site - vsc is my

  • Re: DNN2 Module's Pencil Not Displaying

I'm experiencing a similar problem. The pencils do not display. Also, the Login, Register and Password Reminder buttons do not display on the login module. The images work great as a localhost installation, but when deployed to the IP we experience the problem. I've deployed the site to the WebHost4Life IP. I've notified the IP, however, we have not yet been able to resolve. Any suggestions? Regards, Jack

  • Re: Upgrade to V2.0.4 from V2.0.3

The uid and pswd did not work. Just to clarify, if it has significance, I am running MSDE on a single machine. I added the attribute, Trusted_Connection=Yes, to the connection string - This solved the problem. <add name = "SqlDataProvider" type = "DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider, DotNetNuke.SqlDataProvider" connectionString = "Server=DDNR7721;Database=DotNetNuke;uid=;pwd=;Trusted_Connection=Yes" providerPath = "~\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\"

  • Upgrade to V2.0.4 from V2.0.3

I downloaded the zip for V2.0.4 and extracted the contents to C:\DotNetNuke, the directory for V2.0.3. DotNetNuke software worked fine using the AccessDataProvider. I changed my connectionString to Server-DDNR7721, as shown below, and the defaultProvider-"SqlDataProvider. This configuration worked fine for V2.0.3. <data defaultProvider="SqlDataProvider" > <providers> <clear/> <add name = "SqlDataProvider" type = "DotNetNuke.Data.SqlDataProvider,
