Re: DiscountASP.NET Best ASP.NET Hosting Service Award
The SQL Server stability on all DASP accounts is amazing. They are also releasing a new Web admin for SQL Server accounts so customers can access DBes from any browser. As stated the storage space for SQL Server 2008 accounts is simply awesome. Salute, Mark Wisecarver

Re: Server Explorer Disappeared
Just a note... After installing the latest Silverlight tools for VS2008 I couldn't get the Server Explorer to show, tried everything. Neither of these helped: devenv /resetsettings ...or... devenv /setup I've used "resetsettings" in the past but this time the only VS command that resolved this was devenv /resetskippkgs . If you run this on Vista make sure you run the VS2008 command window as an Administrator or it won't work. Don't be confused, even if your user account

Re: Problem with VS 2008 FTP
I'm in agreement with Kevin on this one. Yes I'm a big fan of VS but I sure do wish it could sync like Dreamweaver. I still use Dreamweaver MX 2004 with VS2008 Pro just to sync local to remote. Love the way it will create a file list where you can unselect files before clicking to transfer. Salute, Mark Wisecarver Technical Evangelist for http://DiscountASP.NET

Re: ASP.Net webhosting with IIS 7
Don't think so but I'm not sure. Just doesn't seem to me they'd be able to make any money at all that way. Salute, Mark

Re: DiscountASP.NET Best ASP.NET Hosting Service Award
I'm coming up on a year with DiscountASP.NET and I've been very happy with the service. Is the discount code good for renewals? And will I automatically be upgraded to 3.5/IIS 7.0, or do I need to request that? Thanks, Chris
Hi Chris, I do not work for DASP, have no idea if you can but you can ask them. Yes you can ask for a free upgrade to IIS7/2008, just open a Support Ticket from your Control Panel. Salute, Mark

Re: Hosting for subversion online so team can work on code easier
They provide a long list of FAQ's: http://subversion.tigris.org/faq.html Seems you'll need either a Dedicated server or a server already running SubVersion. Some features require an Apache server. Salute, Mark
